We took children with spinal disorder high up in the sky

Group LPG Business Unit took children with spinal disorder on a hot-air balloon trip in the frame of their charity campaign. With this extraordinary experience the colleges intended to give a real, unforgettable adventure for youngsters wearing orthopaedic corset.

80% of the origin of the spinal disorders is unknown. It descends, but not in a direct line. In most of the cases it appears before teenage but can also be diagnosed when a person reaches puberty. If it the disorder is severe, wearing an orthopaedic corset is inevitable, usually 22 hours per day for years. In fortunate situations if children's condition don't decay, they can be recovered by some years of physiotherapy and corset-wearing.

The New Europe Foundation supports the Vertebra Foundation in frame of the MOL Child Healing Program. The organization's main goal is to provide these children suffering from spinal disorder with adventure therapy programs to show that they have the chance to collect experiences even in a corset. The Group LPG Business Unit of MOL intended to organize an unforgettable day for children arriving from Vertebra Fund in the frame of a charity program. In cooperation with the Ballooning4YOU the children were raised up in the air in a twelve-person, a four-person and a three-person hearth-shaped balloon. And why hot-air balloon? Many people do not know, that hot-air balloons are powered by PB gas, and they heat the air blown into the balloons that makes them fly up.
